Job summary

Sears Home Services is seeking an Appliance and Refrigeration Repair Technician to diagnose and repair a range of home appliances at customers’ homes. You will deliver exceptional service, manage parts, and maintain the company vehicle across a high-volume field schedule.

The role emphasizes problem solving, mechanical aptitude, clean communication in English, and willingness to travel up to 100% with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• EPA Type I or EPA Universal certification required.
• Mechanical knowledge and aptitude, including use of testing & repair tools.
• Experience repairing and diagnosing a variety of home appliances preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 100% and work variable hours including overtime.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; English required.

Responsibilities

• Drive to multiple customers’ homes daily to diagnose and repair a variety of home appliances with high levels of quality and efficiency; appliances may include refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, and microwaves.
• Deliver excellent customer experience that exceeds expectations consistently.
• Provide customers with value-added solutions that help make their home more clean, comfortable & protected.
• Keep company truck well-maintained & organized, and help manage parts efficiently.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
