Job summary

Sears Home Services is seeking an Appliance and Refrigeration Repair Technician to diagnose and repair a range of home appliances in customers’ homes across the service area.

You will be responsible for delivering an outstanding customer experience, maintaining the service vehicle, and handling parts efficiently. Extensive travel, flexible hours, and ongoing training are part of the role, with strong earning potential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• EPA Type I or EPA Universal certification.
• Mechanical knowledge and aptitude, including use of testing and repair tools.
• Experience repairing and diagnosing home appliances preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written technical instructions.
• Good communication in English.
• Valid driver’s license for the work state.
• Travel up to 100% as needed.
• Flexibility with hours including overtime.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a variety of home appliances at customers' homes with high quality and efficiency.
• Deliver excellent customer experience that exceeds expectations.
• Provide customers with value-added solutions that improve home comfort and safety.
• Keep the company truck maintained and organized; assist with parts management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
