Navtec Expeditions, a Moab, Utah-based outfitter, is seeking a General Manager to run day-to-day operations and own the company’s results. This on-site role oversees river, land and backcountry tours, with accountability for safety, profitability and five-star guest experiences.

The GM will set annual plans with the owner, manage the operating budget, and coordinate across departments. Located in Moab, the position reports to the Owner/President and requires leadership across staff, fleet,

Qualifications

• 5+ years in operations management with budget oversight and reporting
• Proven safety and risk-management leadership in a field setting
• Clear written communication with agencies, guests and owner; valid driver's license
• Willing to live in Moab area or relocate
• Current Wilderness First Responder or ability to obtain within 90 days

Responsabilités

• Lead company-level planning and annual/season priorities with the owner
• Maintain the operating budget and pricing plan; track actuals monthly
• Own KPI tracking and weekly scorecard reporting to the owner
• Plan capital improvements and maintain staff pay bands within the budget
• Ensure permits and agency relationships are managed (NPS/BLM/Utah DNR)
• Oversee office and booking systems, OTA channels, and guest resolutions
• Manage payroll, revenue reporting, bookkeeping, and tax payments with Office Manager
• Hire and train office staff; manage guide certifications and performance
