Job summary

Expedition Lodge in Moab is seeking a Guest Service Representative to manage a welcoming front desk experience during the 3 pm to 11 pm shift, Wednesday through Sunday. You will handle check-ins/outs, keys, and guest inquiries, while providing local activity information and ensuring a smooth operation.

Ideal candidates bring strong customer service, communication, and teamwork skills, with the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 pounds. Evening/weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Excellent English communication, written and spoken.
• Experience in guest-facing roles preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally.
• Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and manage check-in/check-out, issue keys.
• Provide information on hotel amenities and local attractions.
• Process payments and verify credit authorizations.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to meet guest needs.
• Maintain front desk area and shift logs for clear communication.
• Handle guest requests and resolve issues to satisfaction.
• Assist other departments as needed.
