Job summary

Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation seeks a Technical Advisor for MNCH within its Technical Excellence team. The role provides high-level technical leadership, supports integration of MNCH with HIV programs, and engages with donors across sub-Saharan Africa and beyond.

You will translate global guidance into country-ready standards, build capacity, and advance WHO elimination milestones and child health outcomes through evidence-based approaches and cross-country collaboration.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (MD, MPH, or equivalent) in public health, nursing, medicine, or a related field.
• Minimum 7–10 years of progressive technical experience in MNCH programming in sub-Saharan Africa.
• Strong technical writing and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide MNCH technical leadership and guidance across EGPAF-supported countries.
• Translate guidance into internal standards and operational tools.
• Develop and monitor MNCH indicators and M&E frameworks in coordination with the Strategic Information team.
• Support donor engagement and proposal development for MNCH-related initiatives.
• Mentor country-level staff and promote cross-country learning and capacity building.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on PMTCT, AHD, and TB/HIV integration.
