The Elms Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing is seeking a Medication Nursing Assistant (MNA) to join our licensed nursing team. You will administer permitted medications under supervision, document administrations, and monitor residents for changes, ensuring safety and quality care.

Shifts include Sundays 7AM-3PM with part-time and full-time options; sign-on bonus available for full-time and part-time roles. Competitive compensation and shift differentials offered.

Qualifications

• Requires CNA certification and current Medication Aide certification.
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum one year healthcare experience or two years medication-aide experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications according to physician orders and facility procedures.
• Observe residents for changes in condition or adverse reactions.
• Accurately document medication administration.
• Follow written and verbal medication-management instructions.
• Obtain vital signs and perform medication-related tasks.
• Maintain safe storage of medications.
• Stock medication carts and manage discontinued medications.
• Communicate resident concerns promptly to licensed nursing staff.
• Assist with resident-care duties as assigned.

Available Shifts: Sunday's 7AM - 3PM - part-time and full-time options available for those interested in Baylor weekends plus optional additional shift during the week.

Compensation: $23 - $27 based on experience + applicable shift differential and full-time mod comp options

Sign On Bonus: Full-time $5,000 | Part-time: $2,500

About The Role

As an MNA, you'll work alongside our licensed nursing team to support safe medication administration and quality resident care.

You'll administer permitted medications under the supervision of licensed nursing staff, accurately document medication administration, observe residents for changes or reactions, and communicate concerns promptly.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current nursing-assistant certification.
• Current Medication Aide certification.
• CPR certification.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Understanding of medical and pharmacological terminology.
• Minimum one year of healthcare experience or two years of medication-aide experience.
