Job summary

L.A. Care Health Plan in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Managed Long Term Services and Supports Program Specialist II to support LTSS initiatives, training, and process improvement. The role ensures timely deliverables, builds partnerships across the organization, and maintains contract and regulatory awareness.

You will train internal and external audiences, monitor tasks, and represent the organization at events while coordinating meetings and keeping stakeholders accountable for deadlines.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; in lieu of degree, equivalent education and/or experience may be considered.
• Minimum 2 years experience with low income populations and diverse communities in settings such as community-based organizations, social service agencies or civic organizations.
• 2+ years of program coordination experience or process improvement.
• Experience in document management, transcription, and other administrative procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supports program deliverables in collaboration with senior management.
• Builds cross-functional relationships to complete programs on time.
• Maintains knowledge of program contracts, regulations, and requirements; ensures compliance by responsible parties.
• Updates departmental materials with SMEs, Legal, Compliance and stakeholders.
• Conducts process improvement and analyzes data to identify gaps and trends.
• Provides training and evaluates its effectiveness with defined metrics.
• Represents L.A. Care at community events and health fairs.
• Plans and coordinates meetings; prepares agendas and minutes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
