Job summary

L.A. Care Health Plan in Los Angeles, CA seeks a Managed Long Term Services and Supports Program Specialist II to drive operational and strategic initiatives within the MLTSS program. You will coordinate ongoing programs, deliver process improvements, and ensure timely execution across departments.

You will train internal and external audiences, build cross-functional partnerships, and monitor contract requirements, regulatory compliance, and performance metrics to deliver high-quality results.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's preferred or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years working with low-income populations and diverse communities.
• 2+ years of program coordination or process improvement experience.
• Experience in document management and administrative procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supports program deliverables in collaboration with senior positions.
• Builds cross-functional relationships to complete programs on time within scope.
• Maintains knowledge of program contracts, regulations, and requirements.
• Develops departmental materials with SMEs, Legal, Compliance and stakeholders.
• Conducts process improvement and uses data reports to identify gaps and trends.
• Provides training and evaluates training effectiveness with defined metrics.
• Represents L.A. Care at community events and health fairs.
• Plans and summarizes meetings, prepares agendas and logs.
