Qualifications include a BS/AS in Medical Technology or related field, with ASCP certification preferred.

Qualifikationen

• BS/AS or higher in Medical Technology or a related field; ASCP preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of lab testing and quality control processes.
• Experience with LIS and data entry in a clinical lab setting.

Aufgaben

• Perform moderate/high complexity test procedures with independence.
• Support quality control, troubleshooting, and instrument maintenance.
• Perform tests per SOPs and ensure timely reporting to physicians.
• Maintain safe, clean lab areas and proper documentation.
• Train other staff and participate in process improvements.
• Adhere to CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA and safety requirements.
• Enter results into LIS for standardized reporting and review.
