Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Irving, TX, seeks a Medical Laboratory Scientist Group Lead for a Tue-Sat, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM shift. The role leads testing in moderate/high complexity areas and acts as a technical resource for the department.

The position involves supervising workflow, ensuring QC and SOP adherence, and collaborating with Lab Supervisors and staff to maintain high-quality patient results.

Competenze

• 3–5 years of clinical MT experience in the designated discipline.
• Foreign educated candidates must provide credential evaluation (IERF).
• US-educated candidates must provide original transcript.
• ASCP Certification preferred.

Mansioni

• Perform and report analytical tests per SOP with QC requirements.
• Support Lab Supervisor and serve as a technical resource.
• Monitor workflow to meet testing schedules and STAT priorities.
• Train staff and assist with competency testing and evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and safety rules.
• Investigate and resolve testing problems and deviations.
