Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in a laboratory science or medical technology meeting CLIA requirements.
• MT or MLS (ASCP) certification preferred.
• Experience in clinical microbiology preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to work cooperatively.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical microbiology tests in one or more laboratory sections.
• Maintain and calibrate multiplex instrumentation systems to ensure accuracy.
• Resolve technical and interdepartmental problems and take corrective action as needed.
• Identify problems affecting test performance and notify supervising personnel.
