Job summary

Auto-Owners Insurance is seeking an Analytics Division Application Infrastructure (MLOps) Developer to design and support software infrastructure, deployment automation, and monitoring.

The role involves collaborating with software engineers, DBAs, security engineers, and test automation engineers; ideal candidate has OO development experience (Java/C#/Python) and familiarity with CI/CD, SQL, and container tech.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; candidates with several years of relevant experience may be considered.
• Learn and effectively use tools and development techniques within the Analytics Division.
• Some object-oriented development experience (Java, C#, Python) is strongly preferred.
• Experience with SQL, Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, Docker, Kubernetes, PowerShell, and/or SSRS/SSIS is preferred.
• Experience with machine learning operations tools such as MLFlow, SageMaker, or deployment pipelines is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support software application infrastructure for new or existing systems, including deployment automation, repository maintenance, application security, scripting, performance monitoring, and third-party software administration.
• Collaborate with software engineers, system administrators, database administrators, security engineers, and test automation engineers to deliver robust infrastructure.
