Qualifications

  • B.S. or M.S. in chemistry, chemical engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in peptide chemistry and/or manufacturing environments involving synthetic peptide API or drug substance.
  • Solid phase peptide synthesis is preferred.
  • Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis.

Responsibilities

  • Synthetically evaluate and facilitate transfer of peptide upstream manufacturing processes from development labs to pilot plant operations.
  • Perform synthetic peptide chemistry and assess routes from early phase process research labs.
  • Evaluate safety of incoming procedures with safety group and process engineering.
  • Maintain organized lab notebooks and document technical transfers and replication packages.
  • Prepare and review tech transfer plans, SOPs, batch records, and deviation reports.
