ServiceMaster Restore - Crofton is seeking a Mitigation Project Manager to lead and grow our mitigation division. The role starts hands-on in the field and evolves into leadership as the division expands, building systems, managing projects, and supporting business growth.

The ideal candidate will drive workflows, ensure quality, and cultivate relationships with partners to expand opportunities and improve service delivery. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Restoration, mitigation, construction, or project management experience preferred.
• Xactimate experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to build trust with customers and referral partners.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Organized, dependable, and motivated mindset.

Responsibilities

• Help develop and grow the mitigation division from the ground up.
• Assist with workflows, operational systems, and production standards.
• Support hiring and training as the team grows.
• Maintain quality control, accountability, and professionalism across projects.
• Respond to water, fire, mold, and storm damage losses.
• Perform site inspections, moisture mapping, and scope development.
• Coordinate mitigation services including extraction, demolition, drying setup, and cleanup.
• Monitor project progress and communicate with customers throughout the job.
• Ensure accurate job documentation, photos, and reporting.
• Build relationships with plumbers, HVAC contractors, property managers, insurance agents, and other referral partners.
• Track lead activity and support division growth initiatives.
• Review project documentation and job profitability.
• Assist with estimates and insurance communication.
• Support collections, deductibles, and invoice follow-up.
• Maintain awareness of project costs and operational efficiency.
