Job summary

Avesis is seeking a Provider Relations Representative (PR2) to connect our dental provider network with resources, education, and support. This role emphasizes building relationships, educating providers on policies, and resolving issues to ensure access to high-quality care.

The position requires residency in Mississippi and offers a hybrid work environment with travel to provider sites. You will collaborate with Credentialing, Recruitment, and Claims teams to strengthen network performance.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of dental provider credentialing and contracting experience.
• 1–2 years of health insurance claims analysis or resolution experience.
• Strong communication and training skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and database tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead provider education, training, and coaching for performance improvement.
• Manage provider inquiries, issues, and demographic updates.
• Conduct monthly/quarterly meetings with provider groups and document outcomes.
• Collaborate with Network Recruitment and Credentialing teams on contracting and credentialing.
• Own relationships with assigned provider groups and serve as primary contact.
• Document provider interactions and reporting per standards.
• Support adoption of tools, portals, and digital processes for efficiency.
• Perform onsite reviews and travel up to 50% as required.
