Job summary

Avesis is seeking a Provider Relations Representative (PR2) in Mississippi. You will bridge the provider network with resources, education, and support, fostering lasting partnerships while thriving in a hybrid work setup.

You will manage provider education, inquiries, and credentialing, collaborating with multiple teams to improve access to care and member satisfaction. Travel up to 50% is required.

Qualifications

• Candidates must reside in Mississippi.
• 1–2 years of Dental office experience.
• Comprehension of Dental Terminology.
• A valid driver’s license with proof of auto insurance and the ability to use your own vehicle.
• Ability to travel up to 50% in performance of duties.
• Remote role requires reliable internet with 50 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload.

Responsibilities

• Provide provider outreach via in-person/video/phone/email with training and coaching for performance improvement.
• Lead provider education, onboarding, and issue resolution to enable self-sufficiency.
• Conduct monthly/quarterly meetings with provider groups and document discussions and action items.
• Collaborate with Network Recruitment to manage provider contracting and network adequacy reviews.
• Collaborate with Credentialing to manage provider credentialing and document intake.
• Own relationships with provider groups and be the primary point of contact.
• Document provider interactions and reporting in accordance with standards.
• Educate providers on state programs, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Support adoption of tools, portals, and digital processes to improve efficiency.
• Perform onsite facility reviews and travel to assigned markets as needed.
• Attend events and conferences representing the organization; mentor junior staff.
