Job summary

Summit Technologies is seeking a Mission Planning System Support Representative (SSR) to support USAF mission planning activities at Whiteman AFB, MO. The SSR will maintain the base computers, software, and map data, ensuring they are updated and operating for daily exercises, deployments, and real-world contingencies.

The role involves troubleshooting across software, hardware, and systems, managing communications and documentation, and coordinating with unit management levels to resolve issues

Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must have an active Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree or four years of relevant IT work experience.
• Security + certification within 6 months from date of hire to reach a minimum of DoD8570 Level IAT Level II

Responsibilities

• Maintain an IT environment inside the Mission Planning organization, troubleshoot software, hardware, and systems, and manage communications, documentation, and testing until resolution is determined.
• Optimize mission planning data and communicate effectively with coworkers and varying management levels within the supported unit.
