Job summary

Summit Technologies is looking for a Mission Planning System Support Representative (SSR) to support USAF mission planning activities at Whiteman AFB, MO. The SSR is responsible for insuring the base/unit computers and associated equipment, software, and map data are updated and functioning appropriately.

Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must have an active Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree or four (4) years of relevant IT work experience.
• Security + certification within 6 months from date of hire to reach a minimum of DoD8570 Level IAT Level II.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an IT environment inside the Mission Planning organization and troubleshoot problems (software, hardware, systems) including communications, documentation, and testing until resolution.
• SSR also plays a key role in optimizing mission planning data and communicates effectively with coworkers and varying management levels within the unit.
