Job summary

Alabama Goodwill Industries, Inc. seeks a Keyholder to lead daily store operations, ensure security, and deliver excellent service to customers and donors.

The role includes opening and closing, supervising associates, merchandising support, and coverage in the absence of senior leaders. You will help promote the impact of donations, maintain a safe and organized environment, and support mission-driven programs by generating revenue.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of experience in retail or customer service.
• Previous supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable, trustworthy, and able to follow procedures.
• Alignment with AGI’s mission and values.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store according to AGI procedures.
• Manage alarm system: arm/disarm, codes as needed.
• Handle daily cash operations, including drawer reconciliation and deposits.
• Provide courteous, mission-focused service to customers and donors.
• Supervise associates during shifts and coach new team members.
• Assist with merchandising, inventory, and donation processing.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store; support loss prevention.
• Act as the designated person in charge in the absence of TLC/ATL and support store plans.
