Job summary

Evansville Goodwill Industries, Inc. is seeking a Sales Associate to support daily store operations and help fund employment services and training programs.

You will handle register transactions, assist customers, and assist in sorting, pricing, stocking, and processing donated goods. Under the Store Manager, you will contribute to a friendly shopping environment, train team members and volunteers, and help ensure accurate cash handling and adherence to Goodwill policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Must pass drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Must have punctual and dependable attendance.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and assisting with questions.
• Assist in sorting, pricing, stocking, and pulling donated merchandise.
• Count till before/after shifts and reconcile cash drawer.
• Train and develop store team members and volunteers.
• Ensure proper handling and processing of donations and use pallet jack as needed.
