Job summary

Evansville Goodwill Industries, Inc. is seeking a Sales Associate to support daily store operations and help fund job training and placement programs. You will handle checkout, assist customers, and help keep the sales floor stocked and inviting.

Under Store Manager guidance, you will contribute to team training and ensure accurate cash handling, pricing, and merchandise rotation. The role requires flexibility, including nights and weekends, and a strong commitment to Goodwill's mission.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Must be able to pass skills and knowledge assessment testing.
• Pass drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate a computer-based register system and handle cash accurately.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist with store questions.
• Assist in stocking, pricing, sorting and pulling merchandise; rotate products.
• Train and develop store team members, clients, and volunteers.
• Support store security and maintain a safe, clean shopping environment.
