Job summary

Evansville Goodwill Industries, Inc. is seeking a Sales Associate to support mission-driven store operations. You will handle merchandise transactions, assist donors, and deliver friendly customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Under Store Manager supervision, you will process purchases, maintain stock levels, rotate merchandise, and help train teammates and volunteers while upholding Goodwill policies and safety standards. A high school diploma and reliable attendance are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Must pass skills and knowledge assessment testing.
• Pass drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate a computer-based register system.
• Perform basic financial calculations for cash handling and register balancing.
• Count till before and after each shift and reconcile the till.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist with store operations.
• Assist in training and developing store team members, clients, and volunteers.
• Help load/unload merchandise and assist in store security.
