Job summary

Evansville Goodwill Industries, Inc. is seeking a Sales Associate to support daily store operations and help fund employment services and digital skills programs.

The role emphasizes accurate cash handling, friendly customer service, and teamwork within the Donated Goods Retail Operations team. You will greet customers, assist with pricing and merchandise presentation, and contribute to training staff and volunteers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Must pass skills and knowledge assessment testing.
• Must pass drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day mission-integrated store operations.
• Process, price, and ring up merchandise accurately at the register.
• Provide excellent customer service and answer questions about store operations and merchandise.
• Assist in training and development of store team members, clients, and volunteers.
• Maintain production standards for stemming, hanging, pricing, sorting, stocking, and pulling.
• Load and unload store merchandise; assist in store security and inventory management.
