Job summary

Goodwill San Antonio is seeking a General Manager/Retail Store Operations to lead store teams and manage donation operations while delivering mission-focused service. You will mentor Production Managers, Assistant Store Managers and Team Leads to drive continuous improvement in safety, customer experience, and efficiency.

The role requires strong leadership, nonprofit experience, and the ability to optimize staffing, schedules and budgets to meet revenue and impact goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience supervising production and/or retail operations with focus on revenue and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead retail store teams and manage donation operations to meet goals and maintain safety and customer service standards.
• Mentor and develop Production Managers, Assistant Store Managers and Team Leads to improve performance.
• Develop staffing models, scheduling, and training to ensure efficient store operations and strong customer service.
• Monitor budgets, revenue, and key metrics; provide variance analyses and improvement plans.
• Escort HR on performance management, rewards, and disciplinary actions per policy.
• Coordinate with Logistics for store operations efficiency and asset protection.
