Job summary

Goodwill San Antonio is seeking an Assistant Manager to co-lead retail store teams and oversee donations operations in San Antonio. Reporting to the General Manager, you will help meet goals while safeguarding customers and staff.

With a focus on mission delivery, you will develop staffing plans, train employees, ensure safety, control expenses, and deliver excellent customer service every day.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; some college preferred; bachelor's in management a plus.
• Minimum 3 years' experience supervising production and/or retail operations.
• Experience in non-profits and human services is a strong plus.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills in Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Lift up to 40 pounds; must meet physical requirements; valid driver's license if driving.

Responsibilities

• Lead and co-manage store operations to meet goals while ensuring safety and customer service.
• Train, mentor and develop store team; maintain high standards.
• Coordinate with Logistics and Transportation to maximize efficiency and store operations.
