Job summary

Evansville Goodwill Industries, Inc. is seeking a Sales Associate to support daily store operations and deliver friendly customer service while helping fund employment services and skills training.

Under Store Manager oversight, you will handle register transactions, stocking, pricing, donations processing, and teamwork with clients and volunteers; a high school diploma and basic math are required; nights and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Must be able to pass skills and knowledge assessment testing.
• Pass drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate a computer-based register and perform cash handling and basic calculations.
• Greet customers and provide assistance with store operations and merchandise.
• Meet production standards for stocking, pricing, sorting and pulling donations; ensure merchandise rotation.
• Assist in training and developing store team members, clients and volunteers.
