Job summary

Evansville Goodwill Industries, Inc. is seeking a Sales Associate to support mission-driven store operations. You will handle transactions, assist donors and customers, and help maintain a welcoming shopping environment to fund employment services and educational programs.

Responsibilities include operating a computer-based register, balancing tills, stocking merchandise, and assisting in training team members and volunteers. A high school diploma and basic English skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Must be able to pass skills and knowledge assessment testing.
• Pass drug test and criminal background check.
• Punctual and dependable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Operate computer-based register and process transactions.
• Count till before and after shift and reconcile cash.
• Provide excellent customer service and greet customers.
• Stock, price, rotate merchandise; pull donations for sale.
• Assist in loading/unloading, store security, and training teammates.
• Perform janitorial tasks and maintain store cleanliness.
