Job summary

Evansville Goodwill Stores is seeking a Sales Associate to support mission-driven retail operations. You will handle the cash register, assist customers, stock and price donated merchandise, and help train the store team and volunteers.

The role requires punctual attendance, English proficiency, and the ability to pass a background check and drug test. A friendly, professional demeanor and flexibility for evenings/weekends are valued in this team-based nonprofit environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Must be able to pass skills and knowledge assessment testing.
• Pass drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate a computer-based register system.
• Perform cash handling and balance till.
• Greet customers and assist with store operations and merchandise questions.
• Maintain merchandise stock, pricing and rotation.
• Train and develop store team members and volunteers.
• Process donations efficiently and use a pallet jack when needed.
• Support store security and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
