Job summary

CFS in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking an experienced HR & Operations Manager to lead daily office operations, HR programs, and governance support for a mission-driven nonprofit. You will partner with executive leadership, board members, employees, and community partners to drive people, process, and performance improvements.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in HR/office leadership, HRIS expertise, and a track record of onboarding, benefits administration, and developing efficient administrative systems

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in HR, office management, or executive support.
• SHRM, HRCI, or related HR certification, or a Bachelor's/Master's in HR.
• Hands-on HRIS experience, onboarding/offboarding, and benefits administration.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily office operations, including vendor management, facilities coordination, technology support, supplies, and administrative processes.
• Serve as the organization’s primary HR resource, managing onboarding, offboarding, HRIS administration, employee records, benefits administration, and training initiatives.
• Provide administrative support to leadership through meeting coordination, travel arrangements, special projects, and follow-up activities.
• Coordinate Board and committee communications, meeting materials, engagement activities, and governance-related administration.
• Act as the primary point of contact for visitors and help deliver a welcoming, professional experience for employees, volunteers, and community partners.
