Job summary

Elim Park Baptist Home is seeking a full-time cook to prepare hot and cold items across several dining venues, from Conservatory fine dining to Bistro and outdoor spaces. You will follow production sheets, adhere to recipes, and maintain sanitary workflows in a mission-driven, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Degree or Certificate in Culinary preferred or equivalent experience of 3-5 years.
• Serv Safe Certified.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow recipes.
• Ability to prepare menu items as directed.
• Knowledge of essentials of food and cost control.
• Knowledge of food presentation techniques.
• Knowledge of special and therapeutic diets.
• Highly positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Prepares all food indicated by the production sheet according to recipe and standards.
• Prepares all food according to schedule
• Participates in continuing education programs
• Achieves customer satisfaction with food prepared.
• Attends scheduled meetings and inservices.
• Adheres to unit standards of dress.
• Performs other duties as required.
