Good Samaritan is seeking a dedicated kitchen professional for its Beatrice facility. You will prepare and cook meals for patients, staff, and visitors, while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

The role requires strong communication and teamwork in a hospital kitchen environment. Responsibilities include supervising cooks, following HACCP guidelines, and maintaining accurate food handling practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of two years experience and previous leadership experience preferred.
• Serv Safe may be required to obtain within a designated time frame.

Responsibilities

• Performs all duties in food preparation as assigned.
• Provides daily direction to cooks and other assigned areas to meet standards.
• Prepares, cooks, seasons and portions food for patients/residents, staff, and visitors, following menu and dietary requirements.
• Adheres to HACCP guidelines to ensure safe food handling and sanitation.
