Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division seeks a Mission Critical Team Lead for a Monday–Friday shift (6:00am–2:30pm) in Sumter, SC. The role focuses on leading assembly, materials, inspection, testing, wiring and shipping to ensure on-time order fulfillment and quality.

The position offers an hourly target of $24.00 with eligibility for a variable incentive program; basic qualifications include high school diploma, 2 years manufacturing experience, and 3 months of leadership experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• 3 months of leadership experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Live within 50 miles of Sumter, SC; no relocation benefits.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe, engaged and inclusive work culture; escalate issues to supervisor.
• Ensure orders are executed timely and urgent orders fulfilled first.
• Review orders and BOMs to ensure team has the information to complete the job.
• Communicate updates on order status and troubleshoot production issues.
• Support training and development of employees; cross-train in critical positions.
• Delegate tasks and align resources to meet production goals.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and drive projects to completion.
• Attend tier meetings to discuss progress and resolve bottlenecks.
• Request materials/sub-assemblies to ensure complete and timely production.
• Work on projects and special assignments as required.
