Job summary

Eaton Corporation in Sumter, SC is seeking a Mission Critical Team Lead - B Crew to drive assembly operations in the 3pm–1am shift, Monday through Thursday. You will supervise a team, coordinate materials, and oversee quality and timely order fulfillment according to Eaton standards.

The role requires manufacturing leadership experience and the ability to work within lean concepts. A high school diploma or GED is required, with additional qualifications preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• 3 months of leadership experience managing people or project teams.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.
• Must live within 50 miles of Sumter SC to be considered.
• No relocation benefits offered.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe, engaged and inclusive work culture by proactively addressing and resolving concerns and escalating issues to your supervisor as appropriate.
• Work directly with the manufacturing team to ensure that customer orders are executed in a timely and efficient manner and that the most urgent orders are fulfilled first.
• Review orders and associated documentation to ensure the team has the necessary information to complete the job.
• Communicate professionally to provide updates on the status of specific orders and promote teamwork across departments.
• Support training and development of employees as the technical subject matter expert; support department supervisor to ensure a flexible workforce.
• Delegate tasks and align resources to meet production goals, including acting in a production associate capacity when needed.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and drive projects to completion.
• Attend tier meetings to discuss progress, detect bottlenecks, and resolve issues.
