Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is seeking a Kitting Team Lead for a Friday–Sunday, 5pm–5am shift in Sumter, SC. The role partners with the Fabrication Supervisor to drive safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity, while promoting teamwork and training.

Responsibilities include prioritizing urgent orders, reviewing drawings and bills of materials, guiding the team, coordinating with other shifts, and acting as back-up Supervisor when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years of manufacturing experience required.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge.
• Experience with fork truck and measuring tape.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Must be able to stand for extended periods.
• No relocation benefit; Sumter area within 50 miles.
• Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead by promoting teamwork and resolve production issues.
• Drive safety, quality, and productivity metrics.
• Ensure urgent orders are fulfilled first.
• Review orders and BOMs to ensure correct info.
• Provide direction to align with goals.
• Oversee production to meet schedules.
• Facilitate training and cross-training.
• Act as back-up Supervisor when needed.
• Lead Tier 1 meetings and track improvements.
