Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is seeking a Mission Critical - Material Coordinator in Sumter, SC. The role supports inventory accuracy, cycle counting, and timely order fulfillment in a 6am-2:30pm, Monday–Friday schedule.

The position offers an hourly rate of $19.25 and eligibility for a variable incentive program. Primary duties include receiving shipments, updating ERP systems, preparing shipping documents, and ensuring compliance with quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing or operations experience in shipping, receiving, inventory management, warehouse, material handling or related field
• Current or prior forklift certification in operation of forklifts used to transport and locate equipment and materials
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
• No relocation benefit is offered; candidates must reside within 50 miles of Sumter facility.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments and update Eaton systems to maintain accurate inventory and timely order fulfillment.
• Perform cycle counts, analyze discrepancies, and resolve errors with proper research and auditing.
• Support production line material needs and prepare shipping paperwork (invoices, papers, labels).
• Maintain 5S in work area and ensure safety and quality standards are met.
• Collaborate with team members to meet customer orders and improve processes.
