Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) seeks a Systems Administrator/Mission Support Operator (MSO) for on-site, 24/7 operations. The MSO provides Tier 1/2 support to end users worldwide, monitors IT systems with SolarWinds, Splunk, and Wireshark, triages faults, and acts as the first responder for site issues.

Candidates must have 8+ years of IT/Network experience and DoD 8570 compliant certifications with TS/SCI or DoE clearance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years IT/Network administration experience.
• TS/SCI or DoE Q Clearance.
• Experience with monitoring tools: SolarWinds, Splunk, or Wireshark.
• Knowledge of critical physical infrastructure (HVAC, Power, UPS, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Monitor performance and capacity of IT systems using specialized tools.
• Triage hardware, software, and environmental faults.
• Provide 24/7, 365-day operational support to end users.
• Serve as first responder for site issues across multiple locations.
