Chenega Professional Services Strategic Business Unit seeks a Public Safety Dispatcher to serve Kennedy Space Center. You will handle emergency and non-emergency calls, dispatch responders, and maintain CAD records to support mission-critical operations.

You will coordinate with law enforcement, fire, EMS, and security teams while ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to regulatory standards. Strong multitasking and calm judgment are essential in this high-stress environment.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
NFPA 1061 and NFPA 1221 standards knowledge.
Must obtain FCIC/NCIC/CJIS/DAVID/NIMS certifications.
Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
Successfully pass background and drug screening.

Responsabilités

Answer and process emergency and non-emergency calls for service professionally and efficiently.
Evaluate information, assess priorities, and dispatch appropriate responders.
Monitor incidents and maintain communication with responders for coordination.
Coordinate emergency response during routine operations, incidents, and security events.
Maintain situational awareness of ongoing activities affecting safety and security.
Document and update incidents using the CAD system.
Maintain complete, chronological incident records and communications.
Prepare reports and logs per procedures and regulatory requirements.
Ensure records are accurate and compliant with policies and standards.
Operate and monitor 911 and administrative telephone systems, CAD, radios, CCTV, alarms, and CJIS-related platforms.
Identify and communicate security or operational concerns requiring action.
Other duties as assigned.
