Job summary

Cumming Group, based in San Jose, CA, seeks a Project Manager to deliver capital improvement, renovation, and infrastructure projects for a leading technology client. You will coordinate with internal stakeholders, design consultants, and vendors to ensure execution while minimizing disruption to ongoing operations.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years in project management, engineering, or construction management, with experience in R&D labs or data centers and strong knowledge of MEP systems.

Qualifications

• Education: BS in Construction, CM, Engineering, QS, Architecture, or related field.
• Experience: 6+ years of experience Project Management, engineering, or construction management.
• Preferred Certification: CCM, PMP, PE, AIA, LEED.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and coordinate all aspects of the project schedule, scope, and cost.
• Value Engineer the project by identifying opportunities for savings and ensuring material substitutions are equal.
• Manage the on-site project stakeholders.
• Prepare Project Management plan and fee budget/proposal at the project outset.
• Coordinate with cost management group for preparation of cost estimates, cost studies, actual job cost reviews, and budget reconciliation.
• Develop and lead design management, procurement strategies, construction, fit-out, and closeout.
