Job summary

Cumming Group in South San Francisco, CA is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead campus transformation projects including office-to-lab conversions, exterior renovations, and tenant improvements. You will independently manage schedule, scope and cost, coordinate design, and drive value engineering with stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in project management with GC/construction knowledge, preferably lab fit-outs.

Qualifications

• Education: BS in Construction, CM, Engineering, QS, Architecture, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in project management or construction management.
• GC/construction knowledge with lab fit-out experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and coordinate all aspects of the project schedule, scope, and cost.
• Value engineer the project by identifying opportunities for savings and substitutions.
• Manage on-site project stakeholders and prepare PM plan and fee budget.
• Coordinate with cost management for cost estimates, cost studies, and budget reconciliation.
• Drive permitting and ensure compliance with client design standards.
