Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Project Engineer 2 to support routine construction and field execution on large Industrial & Manufacturing projects. You will participate in safety and quality plans while coordinating with the project team on schedules, documentation, and self-perform work.

The role emphasizes learning the building process, applying lean practices, and collaborating with foremen, journeymen, and subcontractors to drive project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• Equivalent relevant experience will be considered in lieu of the above requirements.
• 2+ years construction experience.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Participates in implementing project safety plans and ensures a culture of compliance.
• Supports QA/QC planning to ensure quality for assigned tasks.
• Assists with estimates, schedules, work plans and daily logs.
• Pre-plans crew activities, looks ahead schedules and provides updates to the project superintendent.
• Manages subcontractor scope of work and project documentation.
