Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks a Project Engineer to manage information necessary to construct projects on time and within budget. You will supervise assistants, interns, and engineers and coordinate with Architects, Subcontractors and Owners to resolve issues in plans and specifications.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree plus 4+ years of related experience, strong communication, and proficiency with BIM and LEAN; familiarity with RFI, submittals, and change orders is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of related experience.
• Proven written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to read, interpret and manage contract documents, drawings, specifications and schedules.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and BIM/LEAN concepts.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison with Architects, Subcontractors, Consultants, Suppliers, Inspectors and Owner's Representatives.
• Oversee and resolve issues related to drawings, specifications, and estimates.
• Manage project budget and submittals, shop drawings, and change orders.
• Coordinate close-out records, warranties, and O&Ms; prepare final project records.
• Supervise and mentor engineers, assistants, clerks and interns.
• Prepare Scope of Work documents for trades and generate project reports.
• Schedule coordination meetings with subcontractors and review submittals.
