Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage project scope, budgets, and schedules on time and within quality standards per contract documents. You will collaborate with the base team, architects, subcontractors, and owner representatives to resolve plan/spec issues and drive successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Read, understand, and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedule.
• Negotiation skills for change orders and cost control.
• Demonstrate leadership and interpersonal relationship building skills.
• Proficient in computer applications and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Resolve issues related to plans and specifications to avoid delays, coordinating with base team, architects, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, inspectors and Turner staff.
• Manage project budget through Change Order Management; track productivity and time data to reconcile budget.
• Apply knowledge of estimates, contracts, and subcontract docs to ensure alignment with drawings and specs.
• Ensure timely release of materials and equipment to meet schedule and publish delivery dates to suppliers and team.
• Collect invoices and assist with pay application development, gathering trade partner time sheets for billing verification.
• Develop reports for ORM, Profit Plan, and CAB.
• Distribute schedule, scope details, and information for construction to relevant parties.
• Manage submittals, shop drawings, and resolve conflicts with trades to meet contract requirements.
• Negotiate change orders; prepare quantity analyses and obtain approvals.
• Oversee closeout process and finalize records including RFIs, warranties, as-builts, OMs, attic stock, and spare parts.
