Job summary

STO Building Group is seeking an MEP Assistant Superintendent to manage the daily operation of a large job site in Oklahoma, coordinating scheduling, production, and procurement of materials. The role supervises direct labor and oversees contracted work to ensure timely project completion.

The candidate will work with the Project Manager to develop look-ahead schedules, coordinate pre-construction activities, and maintain open communication with clients, subs, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction related field and 2+ years commercial construction experience.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project site.
• Reads blueprints accurately and understands building codes.
• Good written and verbal communication; basic Spanish preferred.
• Experience with hospital/medical facility projects valued (>$10M)

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operation of the job site including scheduling, production, and procurement.
• Supervise direct labor and coordinate subcontractors.
• Develop and use look-ahead schedules with Project Manager.
• Ensure safety, quality, and adherence to specifications.
• Communicate progress to clients and internal teams.
