Job summary

STO Building Group is seeking an MEP Superintendent to oversee daily job-site operations, including scheduling, production, and material procurement. The role supervises direct labor and oversees any contracted work to ensure timely, high-quality project completion.

Responsibilities include coordinating look-ahead schedules, pre-construction meetings, and cross-team communication with Project Managers, clients, and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and leadership abilities required for coordinating multiple trades.
• Knowledge of construction processes and building codes; blueprints reading.
• Experience on mission critical, hospital, or data center projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Study specifications to plan procedures, staffing, and timelines for each phase.
• Coordinate with Project Manager on schedules and look-ahead analyses.
• Direct procurement of tools and materials to match work schedules.
• Ensure all parties are informed of construction progress and issues.
• Lead meetings with clients, subcontractors, and craft workers to review scope and schedule.
• Monitor labor costs, adjust crew assignments, and manage resource allocation.
• Ensure safety policies and quality standards are implemented across the project.
