Job summary

CACI International Inc. is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead rapid-response engineering and IT infrastructure initiatives on a DHS contract.

You will drive end-to-end delivery, manage timelines and budgets, and guide matrixed teams from initiation through deployment to Operations & Maintenance. The ideal candidate has strong leadership, SELC familiarity, and hands-on experience coordinating cross-functional teams with a focus on risk, reporting, and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain TS/SCI DoD Security Clearance (active TS preferred).
• Ability to obtain DHS Entry On Duty (EOD) - Active EOD preferred.
• B.A./B.S. or equivalent + 8 years of relevant experience.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (predominantly Excel, PowerPoint and Visio).
• Experience with Microsoft Project, JIRA, and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• All areas of Project Management from initiation through closeout, ensuring the successful execution of the project in support of government customer’s mission, goals and objectives.
• Responsible for the management, scheduling, and coordination of projects activities, and staff assignments.
• Provides leadership to a cross-functional team, managing team resource assignments, projected task completion dates, prioritizing activities based on customer requirements and SLAs.
• Document and track the project lifecycle in ServiceNow PPM.
• Produce and provide rough orders of magnitude and estimates for projects requiring surge resources.
• Oversee individual IT projects from identification of requirements, analysis and design, development, end‑user testing, deployment, and production support.
• Document and manage all issues and risks, developing and maintaining a risk register and mitigation plan.
