Job summary

Amentum is seeking a dynamic Stock Accounting Specialist to maintain accurate financial and logistical accountability of inventory and materiel for SOCPAC in Hawaii. You will reconcile records, track transactions, and support audits across CONUS and OCONUS locations.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in stock accounting, strong communication skills, and an active Secret clearance. Travel and collaboration with multiple teams are required in a fast-paced, mission-driven setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years in inventory, stock accounting, logistics, or related field.
• Experience supporting audits and property accountability.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Active Secret clearance; US citizenship required.
• CONUS/OCONUS travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain stock accounting records and transaction documentation.
• Reconcile inventory records and stock balances.
• Research discrepancies between physical inventory and system records.
• Track receipts, issues, transfers, adjustments, and losses.
• Support inventory audits and reconciliation activities.
• Coordinate with supply, warehouse, property, and finance personnel.
• Identify recurring discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain documentation supporting inventory accountability.
• Maintain compliance with safety and operational procedures.
