Job summary

SpaceXAI seeks an on-site Electrical Construction Lead for the Memphis Data Center, overseeing crews and contractors responsible for underground ducts, high/medium voltage systems, grounding, and power distribution. You will ensure safety, schedule, and quality across mission-critical facilities with hands-on leadership.

The role requires coordinating teams across large industrial electrical installations, developing aggressive schedules, and maintaining detailed documentation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years managing electrical construction teams on large industrial or mission-critical projects.
• 3+ years hands-on experience with underground ducts, high/medium voltage, switchgear, and power distribution.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Willingness to relocate as needed within the US (relocation required depending on locations).

Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical installations including duct banks, conduits, terminations, switchgear, transformers, generators, UPS, PDUs, and grounding for data centers.
• Manage and schedule electrical contractors, subcontractors, and on-site crews to meet milestones with SpaceXAI's quality standards.
• Ensure adherence to electrical scope, delivering high-integrity power systems for uptime and reliability.
• Maintain detailed logs, red-line drawings, and as-built documentation for power infrastructure.
• Develop aggressive construction schedules and manage budget to keep projects on time and within scope.
• Champion and enforce SpaceXAI's safety program, building a zero-incident culture around energized equipment.
• Supervise foremen and crews to foster teamwork and accountability in mission-critical environments.
• Proactively resolve on-site challenges—delays, conflicts, sequencing issues—with a focus on reliability and code compliance.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with local codes, safety protocols, and quality standards.
• Prepare and present progress reports, metrics, and risk updates to senior leadership.
