Kimmel Associates is seeking a Director of Development – Mission Critical to drive growth in the data center and mission critical construction market in the United States. The role focuses on identifying opportunities, building key client relationships, and guiding pursuits from preconstruction to execution.

Ideal candidates will have 10–15+ years in construction, with strong experience in mission critical or data center markets, and a degree in a related field.

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and outreach.
• Develop relationships with data center end users, customers, design teams, and key stakeholders.
• Manage and advance opportunities through the sales and preconstruction process.
• Support strategic sales, pipeline management, proposals, and presentations.
• Lead and coordinate design-build and design-assist pursuits.
• Partner with estimating and preconstruction teams on competitive, low-risk solutions.
• Ensure effective project turnover and continuity from pursuit through execution.
• Develop strategies to address customer challenges and differentiate the company in the market.
• Stay current on data center construction trends and customer requirements.
• Conduct client meetings and present tailored solutions.
• Build strategic partnerships and connect regional teams with clients and market partners.
• Contribute to long-term revenue growth and expansion.

Ausbildung

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
