Job summary

Kimmel Associates is seeking a Director of Development – Mission Critical to drive growth in the data center and mission critical construction market. You will identify opportunities, build strategic client relationships, and collaborate with preconstruction and operations to win and transition new work.

The role leads market strategy and sales pipeline, connecting clients, design teams, regional operations, and internal resources to create solutions that secure new business and support

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years in construction with business development, preconstruction, or execution of large-scale projects.
• Experience in mission critical, data center, concrete construction, or similar complex markets.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and outreach.
• Develop relationships with data center end users, customers, design teams, and stakeholders.
• Manage and advance opportunities through sales and preconstruction processes.
• Lead and coordinate design-build and design-assist pursuits with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with estimating and operations to develop competitive, low-risk solutions.
