Kimmel Associates seeks a Director of Development – Mission Critical to drive growth in the data center and mission critical construction market. You will identify opportunities, build strategic client relationships, and partner with preconstruction and operations to win and transition work.

The role leads market strategy, connects clients with design teams and internal resources, and shapes the sales pipeline to enable secure, high-value projects nationwide.

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years in construction, with heavy emphasis on business development, preconstruction, and execution of large-scale projects.
• Strong background in mission critical, data center, concrete construction, or similarly complex markets.

Responsabilités

• Identify and pursue new opportunities through market research, networking, and outreach.
• Develop relationships with data center end users, design teams, and key stakeholders.
• Manage and advance opportunities through sales and preconstruction processes.
• Support strategic sales, pipeline management, proposals, and presentations.
• Lead design-build and design-assist pursuits with clear scope and assumptions.
• Collaborate with estimating and preconstruction to craft competitive, low-risk solutions.
• Work with operations to ensure smooth turnover and continuity from pursuit to execution.
• Develop strategies to differentiate the company in the mission critical market.
• Stay current on data center trends and evolving customer requirements.
• Conduct client meetings, understand needs, and present tailored solutions.
• Build strategic partnerships and connect regional teams with clients and partners.
• Contribute to long-term revenue growth and market expansion.
